Students’ basic needs include access to nutritious and sufficient food; safe, secure, and adequate housing – to sleep, to study, to cook, and to shower; healthcare to promote sustained mental and physical wellbeing; affordable technology and transportation; resources for personal hygiene; and childcare and related needs.
Bodega
An on-campus, dignified, student-centered resource where students can access fresh
produce, grains, dried goods, proteins, hygiene products, and ther support services
free of charge.

Bodega Bites
Bodega Bites Sites provide SMC staff with the ability to provide a free healthy snack to students who may be experiencing food insecurity. Snacks include granola bars, cereal bars, nuts, and other shelf-stable healthy choices. This program is made possible by the SMC Foundation’s generous donors, who care about our students.

Bodega Rack provides students free access to a collection of curated, gently used clothing to support their personal and professional needs.
