SMC’s new Math & Science Building is a bold step forward — but critical gaps remain in funding the equipment, research, and industry exposure students need to compete in today’s STEM fields. Many SMC students are first-generation college students balancing multiple responsibilities, making access to these opportunities not just important but essential to unlocking their potential and strengthening our future workforce.

An Immersive Evening of Innovation
Join us at sunset on Saturday, September 26 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. for an elevated evening experience inside SMC’s new Math & Science Building. Enjoy rooftop cocktails, panoramic city views, and curated hors d’oeuvres, as you connect with fellow leaders, innovators, and changemakers shaping the future of STEM.
Then explore a series of interactive experiences throughout the building:
- Engage directly with students and faculty at live STEM showcase stations
- Step inside cutting-edge labs and innovation spaces
- Experience the Planetarium and Observatory, including guided telescope viewing under the night sky
This is not a traditional program — it’s a fully immersive experience of innovation, talent, and possibility. Tickets coming soon.
