MaCher is thrilled to announce its support for Native American students interested in pursuing a career in graphic design. The $10,000 Graphic Design Scholarship for Native American Students by MaCher will provide the full California in-state tuition for an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Santa Monica College, with the remaining funds available to help with the fees and living expenses related to attending college.

Santa Monica College’s Graphic Design program is comprehensive. Students will build a diverse portfolio that will help to secure work in-house for a company, brand, or organization; at a design agency; or as a freelance graphic designer. Additional possible or future job roles include web designer, user experience (UX) designer, animator, and photographer.

Indigenous American students bring crucial knowledge and perspective to the world of graphic design, and we believe in helping with indigenizing the field. We are committed to supporting Native American students in their higher education pursuits and helping to increase representation.

To apply for this scholarship, prospective applicants must first obtain a Santa Monica College student Identification (ID) number. Apply to SMC Now.
